Thana Kebab

If it were back in my hometown, it would be my favorite kebab. I ordered a plate and it tasted spectacular, and the portion was LARGE. Perhaps enough to share between two. The staff are very friendly, and the place is very quiet. If you like this type of food, stopping by to try it is a must.

My partner, some friends, and I were in Banyoles, taking a dip in the lake, and we were craving a kebab for dinner. We looked at the reviews of the nearest kebab places, and those for Thana Kebab surprised us. It was almost 5 stars, with excellent comments about the taste and service. We decided to find out if the reviews were exaggerated or even part of a joke by the locals, and so we ventured out to try Thana Kebab's famous durum. Once we were seated at the table, nerves were palpable in the air, as we made our internal bets on whether the place deserved the reputation it boasted. Once the dishes arrived, our faces looked astonished and full of disbelief. The positive reviews for Thana, as we affectionately call it, are definitely an understatement and not at all exaggerated. I would return a thousand times over to try their flavors from the depths of Turkey, and especially their wonderful spicy sauce, always well-balanced and not overpowering. I hope more people like us can enjoy this experience—I definitely recommend it. Until the end... Thana kebab!!!

The best! For a quick bite or more. Excellent food, great staff, and more than reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere in the evening, I highly recommend it.

After a day of sightseeing, we decided to end with a dip in Banyoles Lake. When we parked, we intended to head to a typical "Bar Manolo," but we were surprised by the excellent aroma of kebabs on their cool terrace (just the way we Spaniards like them). After a brief discussion, we went inside to order our favorites: a pita and a kebab. Both were delicious, with the perfect amount of seasoning and the perfect flavor of the sauces. As for the service, it was a 10 (no more, no less), with no waiting and a warm, friendly atmosphere. I recommend it; I would return to soak up the warm coral walls.
